CIMA is the world’s leading professional body of Management Accountants. Management Accountants analyze financial information from a management perspective to improve business performance. In 2017, the American Institute of CPA(AICPA) and CIMA came together to form a powerful international alliance to promote Accounting and Finance throughout the world. Today, they serve 698,000 members, students, and engaged professionals in 188 countries and territories.
The study program of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) comprises 4 qualification levels. A CIMA Certificate or Diploma is awarded for successful completion of a level. Depending on a learner’s entry qualification some lower levels may be skipped and exemptions from some higher-level modules may be granted by CIMA. Apart from the modules, there are case study exams to be taken to complete the Operational and Management levels.
