Training Categories
Three categories of training:
Training Events: Based on perceived market demand, changes in technology or trends in industry practices, we organize short training events in the form of seminars or other form of training. These events aim to impart up-to-date skills and knowledge in order to update, upgrade or strengthen the trainees for better performance in the relevant professional domain or for new professional opportunities. On-demand Training. This is training on the request of an individual, a group of persons or an organization. We analyse the customer’s training requirements, develop relevant content and agree a programme of training with the customer.
Third party Curriculum based Training. We offer this category of training through our Institute of Management and Information Technology (IMIT) www.imitpford.org. Here, we train for professional body qualifications and industry certifications of international repute. Training is based on third party curriculum, for qualifications of the third parties.
Professional fields of training range from Information Technology Certifications (Cisco, Oracle, Linux, Python, C, C++, etc) to management and management related certifications (Human Resource Management, Business Management, Project management), etc to professional body qualifications CIPS, ACCA, CIMA, etc).
We provide the following delivery methods from which the learner can choose for their studies:
- E-learning. Working with our international partners (British and American award-winning tuition providers), we offer robust e-learning facility with continually updated study resources to all learners irrespective of their location, 24H/24 and 7D/7. This innovative facility is available for studies towards qualifications in fields such as; Chartered Accountancy (CIMA & ACCA), Human Resource Management (CHRMP), Business Management & Marketing (IIMT), Cisco Networking Academy (Networking, Cyber Security, Programming, Internet of Things, etc), EC-Council (Cyber Security Certifications; CCT, CEH,
- Blended e-learning & Classroom (site-based) Training. We provide the opportunity for additional face-to-face tutor support for the courses delivered by e-learning, to learners who express the need.
- Live online training. Distant learners are able to attend live courses and participate actively by joining us through a pre-provided web link.
- Classroom (Site-based) Training. We continue to provide training by the traditional face-to-face tutoring approach. This is particularly suitable for training involving practical demonstrations and student hands-on activities.
